Safe domestic cleaning

Our cleaners are reliable and experienced and we can provide verifiable references on request. With 4CityClean, you will get the same cleaner on a regular basis with an immediate replacement available in the event of holiday or sickness. All staff undergo our mandatory company induction procedure. The first part is theoretical, providing knowledge of safe housekeeping and methods of work, COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and risk assessment techniques, with the second part consisting of a practical exam.

The client’s comfort and security is our top priority. We ask staff members to provide ID (with a valid working permit if required), proof of address for the last two years, at least two references which can be checked and we also require them to have a good command of the English language. A criminal record check can be carried out at the client’s request.  We don’t stop there and our Area Supervisors are on hand to respond to customers’ needs immediately. In the unlikely event that you wish to change your cleaner, we can arrange a replacement within 24 hours. We want you to be absolutely comfortable around out staff so if you have any questions or queries at all, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Flexible cleaning service at a time that suits you

We allow our customers to select the day and time when they would like the cleaner to attend. If you have special access requirements to your home or you building is protected by a key code entry or sign-in system you’ll be pleased to know that our staff are fully trained in safe access and security procedures. You can be present if you wish or alternatively you can provide us with a key (85% of our cleaners are key-holders). Our cleaners will comply with your requirements and with our strict security policies. We can also carry out extra or one-off cleaning, to help give things an extra spruce, perhaps for a special occasion or simply a seasonal refresh.

We ask that you pay the cleaner, either in cash or by cheque payable to 4CityClean Ltd. Alternatively, direct debit arrangements can be set up (our bank details are available on request). There is a minimum period of 3 hours per person per visit, which we have found is the least we need in order to make a thorough job of your domestic cleaning, allowing us to make a significant improvement to your home.

We normally assume that our customers will provide the cleaning products they want our cleaners to use. This way, you know exactly what chemicals have been used and you can be sure that they will not be any surprises. However for extra convenience, we can provide our own, safe and eco friendly cleaning products if you prefer, although this will incur an extra charge. You may find it is worth it as, owing to our extensive experience in the industry we have some of the best equipment and cleaning solutions that are available. If you would prefer this simply let us know.

If you require any ironing carried out, our cleaners can do this for you at the same hourly rate. This is a very popular part of our regular cleaning service as it can save our clients significant amounts of time on weekly basis.

Every now and then, your home may require some more specialist cleaning. In these cases, we can carry out thorough cleaning of carpets and upholstery as well as other challenging areas such as ovens. If there is a specific item that requires extra attention please don’t hesitate to ask for honest advice on the situation.
